Compassion

Compassion, a word we don’t hear much anymore. The world’s compassion has gone with it’s virtues, the world has no physical or moral standards anymore, treat everyone how you feel basically. That is so morally wrong, the Bible says in 1 Peter 3:8:

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

How can we expect people be to compassionate, kind, friendly to us, if we ourselves aren’t to them! It’s called a chain reaction, if ONE person can be kind to someone, it can spread! One of the things I often think about, is how can bullies deal with themselves? Knowing they are causing hurt in people’s lives, depression in some cases. The thing is, a good half the time, bullies are that way because they were hurt themselves, and they want someone to feel that same pain as they feel. Does it justify their action? No. Nothing justifies hurting someone just because they don’t feel they were treated right. Doesn’t mean we can’t show them compassion, compassion is a way of saying “I’m here for you.” When it seems no one else may be. As I’ve said in my profile, my goal in life is to make someone happy, to change someone’s day for the better. Because even if I can do that once, it can change their life forever. So, I encourage you, be courteous and friendly today, remember, people around you are hurting. And you can make their day. Spread some kindness around, we all could use some in these days.
